None of the windows in the property were original - all were badly fitted uPVC.  The glazing units had failed, allowing condensation to build up internally.

All the windows in the house were replaced with triple glazed Green Building Store units.

This also enables the external wall insulation to be wrapped around most of the window frame, improving the thermal performance.

Going for windows with no mullions or transoms also improves the amount of light entering the property while reducing the cost of the windows.

The windows spec'd were inward opening - to enable safe cleaning - with tilt and turn mechanisms that allow ventilation without jeopardising security.
