pre our Knauf Dritherm Ultimate 32 insulation installation, client had filled space between floor joists with Rockwool insualtion

Six fixings were sued to attach each compete insulation board.  Care must be taken to make sure services are not damaged by fixings, ie electrical wires and water pipes 

Periscopic vents (with cavity wall extensions) were used to ensure a continued clear air-path to the sub-floor, to ensure adequate ventilation.  This measure was required where any existing air-bricks to the sub-floor void would be blocked by the installation of external wall insulation floor insulation.
